Qiskit Fall Fest 2026

One week, five days of quantum: three invited talks and two hands-on workshop days, woven together to celebrate ten years of quantum computing on the cloud.

About

Qiskit Fall Fest is IBM Quantum's annual series of student-run quantum computing events, hosted every autumn on campuses around the world. In 2026 the Clemson Quantum Club brings the Fall Fest back to Clemson, and this year's edition is a milestone: the global theme celebrates ten years since the first quantum computer went on the cloud, and a decade of open tools that let anyone, anywhere program real quantum hardware.

Our Fall Fest runs a full week, alternating between talks and hands-on sessions: three invited speakers from research and industry, interleaved with two workshop days of guided Qiskit notebooks and challenge problems. Every session starts from zero: no quantum background is required for any of it.

FAQ

Do I need quantum computing or Qiskit experience?

No. The speaker sessions assume no background, and the workshops start from your very first circuit. Curiosity is the only prerequisite.

Do I have to attend the whole week?

No. Every day stands on its own, so come for one talk, one workshop, or all five days.

What should I bring?

A laptop for the workshop days. We will help you set up Qiskit and an IBM Quantum account during the first session.
